We've reformatted our voting threads to better enable captains to correctly format and submit their final votes to us. Take a look, and let us know if you run into any issues.

1. Putting your votes together

Captains shall select three options from the Nominated Players heading and put them in order of highest vote to lowest vote using the following template. The first name will receive three votes, the second will receive two votes and the third will receive one vote. Voting for your own teammates is not allowed, regardless of the award (this includes Best Caster).

Important formatting - you must copy-paste your vote EXACTLY, and separate votes using commas. Again we are using an automated script to process these votes, and incorrectly imputed votes may not be counted!

This thread is for nominating your team's players for the best-in-class awards for Highlander Winter '25 (S10). This thread will be used by us to collect the rosters of each team for voting purposes, which go live once all nominations have been submitted.

Captains are asked to respond to this thread with the completed template below by Sunday the 24th of August at 11:59pm AEST 2025 Please save replies for nominations only, and not discussion. Only one reply per team.

Failure to submit nominations and subsequent votes will result in you and your team being unable to receive any awards or in-game medals. You can sign up for Sixes Winter '25 until Wednesday the 4th of June at 11:59pm AEST. With that said, we'll aim to have seedings out by Friday the 6th or Saturday the 7th of June at the latest. This allows for the Season to start on Sunday the 8th of June.

Winter '25 Changes to come!

Rule Changes, Penalties & Roster Shrinkage

As discussed in our previous News Post we have made numerous changes to our Rules and Penalty System which will all be taking effect as we planned. However, arguably the biggest change that will be taking place is the Roster Shrinkage.

Upon reflecting on our idea to reduce the Sixes roster down to 8 players from the original 10, we feel that this change would be to harsh to implement from the get-go. Ultimately, we have decided that Sixes rosters this season will consist of a total of 9 players.

Map Pool

Granary In, Reckoner Out

For the first time since Season 36, Granary will be making its return! We are trying to get a new version out before the season starts but as its only minor changes, we may keep the existing version - this will be updated before the seedings close. This does mean that (my beloved) Reckoner will be out of the Map pool for the first time since Season 34.

Had you going - after LukasTank dominated the NA LAN with this weapon, it will remain banned for Season 43.

Staff Changes

omni

We're happy to announce that omni will be joining our staff team this season as the newest Trial Sixes Administrator. Omni has proven themselves previously as the Head Admin for RSL and as a reliable advisor in the past. We're excited for him to re-join the administration team and wish them the best going into Winter '25.

Hungry4Eggs & Celph

Unfortunately, real life has caught up with Celph and Hungry as they have decided to step down as league admins for this coming season. On behalf of ozfortress, we would like to thank these two for their continued efforts and the time they have spent making ozfortress a better place. It's only goodbye for now!

The users below are banned from playing a certain amount of rounds in both Sixes and Highlander during Autumn '25. Users can receive round bans when accruing Player Behaviour Infractions or League Penalties. See these pages for more information each.

Transfer Windows

Transfers this season will be processed and approved on a weekly basis. There will be five transfer windows for this season of Sixes. Teams should note the Transfer Windows to prevent player issues with their rosters during the season. Transfers can be requested at any point during the season, however, the players in question will only be processed in between the Transfer Windows (see dates below). Furthermore, players won't be processed until their team's match has concluded for the current round. The listed transfer windows can be found below.

For applicants to be eligible to play in a particular round, the transfer application must be submitted by 11:59 PM AEST/AEDT time on Friday before the transfer window closes.
