Fresh off the back of Physgun Fireside Denver 2025, there is renewed energy within the ozfortress scene. What's the only solution? A new season!

You can sign up for Sixes Winter '25 until Wednesday the 4th of June at 11:59pm AEST. With that said, we'll aim to have seedings out by Friday the 6th or Saturday the 7th of June at the latest. This allows for the Season to start on Sunday the 8th of June.

Winter '25 Changes to come!

Rule Changes, Penalties & Roster Shrinkage

As discussed in our previous News Post we have made numerous changes to our Rules and Penalty System which will all be taking effect as we planned. However, arguably the biggest change that will be taking place is the Roster Shrinkage.

Upon reflecting on our idea to reduce the Sixes roster down to 8 players from the original 10, we feel that this change would be to harsh to implement from the get-go. Ultimately, we have decided that Sixes rosters this season will consist of a total of 9 players.

Map Pool

Granary In, Reckoner Out

For the first time since Season 36, Granary will be making its return! We are trying to get a new version out before the season starts but as its only minor changes, we may keep the existing version - this will be updated before the seedings close. This does mean that (my beloved) Reckoner will be out of the Map pool for the first time since Season 34.

Had you going - after LukasTank dominated the NA LAN with this weapon, it will remain banned for Season 43.

Staff Changes

omni

We're happy to announce that omni will be joining our staff team this season as the newest Trial Sixes Administrator. Omni has proven themselves previously as the Head Admin for RSL and as a reliable advisor in the past. We're excited for him to re-join the administration team and wish them the best going into Winter '25.

Hungry4Eggs & Celph

Unfortunately, real life has caught up with Celph and Hungry as they have decided to step down as league admins for this coming season. On behalf of ozfortress, we would like to thank these two for their continued efforts and the time they have spent making ozfortress a better place. It's only goodbye for now!
