RULE CHANGES, CLARIFICATIONS AND IMPORTANT NOTES
RULE CHANGES
- Teams will no longer be allowed to deny their matches being casted. If a team thinks they have reasonable grounds to deny a cast, they must contact an administrator.
IMPORTANT NOTES TO REMEMBER (THESE ALREADY EXISTED)
- Transfers is three part process! It is not as simple as just inviting a player to your player pool. You must APPLY for the transfer and then wait for it to be approved.
- Deadline for match time to be organised is Sunday 7PM.
- If your game is being casted, proper aliases are required.
- Post logs and submit/verify scores after each match. This applies to both the home and away team.

The ozfortress seasonal league has returned! As per usual, the league will be run using the highly successful Warzone. Whether you're a hardened veteran of the scene or a newcomer to 6v6 TF2 there will be a place for you in ozfortress season 28 and we hope to see you there!
The map pool for OZF 28 will again comprise of nine maps and certain maps will be played once during the regular season with other maps being played twice. This season we're seeing the departure of Bagel and Reckoner. In their place we're seeing the return of longtime North American favourite Metalworks as well as old classic Prolands. Both of these maps are familiar for many ozfortress players both old and new.
There will be four brackets in OZF 28. The brackets we will feature are: Premier, Intermediate, Main and Open! Both Premier and Intermediate will have a round robin group stage while the lower two brackets will consist of a Swiss group stage. All brackets will continue using the Page Playoffs format. Grand Finals for Premier shall be played as a no-advantage best of 5, while Open and Intermediate Grand Finals will be a best of 3. Premier and Intermediate will have 8 teams while Main and Open's bracket size is pending signups.
We are also extremely excited to announce a prize pool for the Premier division of OZF 28! This season will feature a $2000 AUD prize pool to be spilt between the top three placing Premier teams. The distribution will be as follows:
1st: $1200 AUD
2nd: $600 AUD
3rd: $200 AUD
Thanks again to all of our Patrons, past and present, who helped make this possible.
During OZF 28 we plan on conducting random demo checks to ensure players are recording demos. Please ensure that you are recording match demos in order to avoid punishment.
This season we will also be continuing our new transfer window system that we introduced for OZF 27. This systems sees transfers be done every two weeks rather than every week. The system will allow admins more time to review and accept transfers.
We will also be featuring several new plugins on ozfortress servers for OZF 28. The added plugins will fix the notorious sticky-det bug as well as the ramp slide bug, and remove the Rick May memorial statues from maps. These are the only plugins we will be using for OZF 28. No others will be added.
We're also adding a global class restriction document for players to track class restrictions more easily. A link can be found at the bottom of this post.
All server booking will continue to be done through ozfortress discord. Simply join the #bookings channel in the ozfortress Discord and type /book and details of your server booking will be PM'd to you. To view more commands, type /help in the #bookings channel.
In Citadel, Captains can create Teams using the "Start Team" button on the Teams page. Once created, Captains can invite players to the Team. Team invites are shown on a player's profile, which can be accessed by clicking on your name next to the bell on the top right hand corner of your screen. Teams provide a pool of players that can be signed up for a tournament. Players may be in the pool for multiple teams but only one Roster for any given tournament. Captains may sign up a Roster for tournaments under the League page.
If you're new and not sure how to get started, don't fret! Check out the #recruitment section of the ozfortress Discord where you can express your interest in joining a team, or peruse potential players to form a team of your own. Teams are normally comprised of 1 Medic, 1 Demoman, 2 Soldiers and 2 Scouts. If you're new to the competitive scene, click here for an introduction to ozfortress!
Please ensure you have enough backups to last the season; teams are allowed a maximum of 10 players rostered for any single tournament.
You can sign up for ozfortress season 28 from Sunday the 10th of May up until Wednesday the 20th of May. We aim to have seeding out by the 23rd of May with the season starting on the 24th, however this is subject to change. This gap between the closing of signups and the start of the season is to give the administration team more time to seed. ozfortress season 28 will begin on Sunday the 24th of May.

View the whitelist at whitelist.tf
This global whitelist is part of an initiative to unify the international leagues. We will be using the May 2019 edition of the global whitelist.
New items added to the game during the season will be banned until the next season. Modification of weapons will be evaluated by the administrative team. Taunts which are silent and/or toggle-able have been banned.
It is the responsibility of the player to not use these weapons in matches. The whitelist not loading or loading incorrectly is not an excuse for using banned items.
