We're in full Bloom

Like Tulips, Roses and Snapdragons blossoming after a frigid Winter we're coming into a fresh new dawn of our own for the eighth season of ozfortress Highlander. With new maps coming into the fray, we're in a fresh new era of Highlander, and you don't want to miss it.

Signups

You can sign up for Highlander Spring '24 from Wednesday the 25th of September 2024, up until Saturday the 5th of October 2024. We aim to have seeding out by Sunday the 6th of October 2024, before the season starts. The season starts Wednesday the 9th of October 2024.

Please fill out the Signup Agreement template found in the dropdown below and put it in your Signup Application when signing up your team.

Signup Agreement

By signing up, you acknowledge that you may be placed in any division the administrators deem fit for your roster, and thus your entire team should be reasonable in their expectations on division placement. We will endeavour to let teams know of changes in initial seedings before the final release. Please ensure you specify the division you truly believe your team should be in, this will make it easier for administrators to consult with you on your seeding. Along with selecting your desired division, please also list who you expect to play, and what class/role. We have a template below, please include your completed template in your signup application.

Highlander Admin Changes

With both hive and Rainy stepping down as admins Sperkle and Kai will be joined by the freshly qualified admins woozy and redja for Spring '24 Highlander.

Whilst we're not bringing on any new staff this season, we are looking for individuals who would be interested in becoming League Administrators in the future. If this appeals to you, please fill in one of our Staff Applications and we'll get back to you!

Reminders

During Highlander Spring '24, we plan to conduct random demo checks to ensure players are recording POV demos. Please ensure that you are recording all scrims and officials to avoid punishment. You can do this via the in-game demo system following our guide which you can find here.
- The punishments for not recording demos have been changed - the first offence will now incur a warning, but a repeat offence at any time in the future will incur severe penalties. This is not a 'blank slate' - all previous offenders who have been caught not recording will not get another warning.
If you are unsure if something is considered a game exploit, contact a League Administrator for clarification. Ignorance is not an excuse.
