Fours makes its triumphant return to Australian shores
ozfortress is excited to (re)introduce Fours! Fours last saw play in Australia several years ago, and many expressed interest in its return in post-season polls.
But if you needed another reason to play...
We want your frags clips. All you need to do is play the cup, hit a clip, and follow the instructions provided here.
Signups
You can sign up for the Fours Summer Cup ‘24 from now (Sunday the 7th of January), up until Wednesday the 24th of January. We aim to have seeding out Friday the 26th of January before the cup starts, with the cup being split up into two days over a weekend, Saturday the 27th of January and Sunday the 28th of January.
40 keys have been put forward by myself (multi) to make things a little more interesting as Summer comes to a close.
Did you hit a fat middie or turn up as a one man army and wipe their team? Perhaps you were relegated to Medic and dropped their Medic with the crossbow. Submit your sick clips and you never know, you might just win a prize.
Prizes

10 keys for the best frag clip

FAQ
Can I submit a STV demo?
No, only POV demos may be submitted.
Who will be judging the clips?
A small team of both admins and players.
Can I use scrim clips?
No, only clips from the cup are eligible.
Why doesn't the Division 1 winner and runner-up of best frag also win the best frag for that map?
The best frag per map for Division 1 was added to give an opportunity for more players to win a prize; as such, it is ideal to have distinct winners for this category.
Does "Other Divisions" mean that there there is only one prize for all remaining divisions?
No, all remaining division will have their own prize.

But if you needed another reason to play...
To pay homage to Respawn League and its original Fours competitions, you will be able to get your hands on the usually unobtainable Respawn League medal.

To support players having their voice heard, we have broken the Sixes post-season poll into smaller, more focused polls which we will release over the coming weeks.
Sixes Autumn '24 Map Vote
For Sixes Autumn '24 (S39), we have elected to adopt single transferable voting (STV) to improve overall community satisfaction with the map pool. In STV, you rank maps based on how much you want to play them, not how likely you think they are to be chosen. CGP Grey has a great video to help understand how this works.
How to Vote
Using the template provided, you create a thread here. Your thread will only be visible to ozfortress administrators.

Will each division have the same map pool?
No; with the separation of Upper divisions (Premier/High) and Lower divisions (Intermediate/Main/Open), these two groups can vote in support of different map pools.
How will the maps be chosen?
Maps will be chosen using single transferable voting; CGP Grey has a great video to help understand how this works.
Does the order of my map votes matter?
Yes! In single transferable voting, you are ranking how much you want to play each map. You should vote in order of what you want to see played, not what you think will be voted in.
Which maps will be played twice?
The five most popular maps will be played twice, the remaining four maps will be played once.
What map version will we be playing?
We will be playing the latest version of any map voted in.
Where is Kalinka?
It's there; it has been renamed to Coilblaze.
Where is X? I loved that map!
We've chosen a large enough pool of maps which reflects both what is played overseas and what players often request.
Can I vote for a map not listed in the map pool?
No.
