In a little over 730 hours doors will open once again and we'll begin Experimental Cup 4! This time around we are bringing you 6 untouched maps, never before within ozfortress competitions. These maps as well as some other implementations will be the focus of this event so sit up, be prepared, no one is folding your napkins when you stand up. This is not a passive aggressive establishment.

Signups

You can sign up for Experimental Cup 4 from today Wednesday the 6th of August 2025, up until Wednesday the 3rd of September 2025. We aim to have the seedings out between Thursday the 4th to Friday the 5th of September, before the Event begins on Saturday the 6th of September 2025.

Please fill out the Sign up Agreement template found in the dropdown below and put it in your Signup Application when signing up your team.

Signup Agreement

By signing up, you acknowledge that you may be placed in any division the administrators deem fit for your roster, and thus your entire team should be reasonable in their expectations on division placement. We will endeavour to let teams know of changes in initial seedings before the final release. Please ensure you specify the division you truly believe your team should be in, this will make it easier for administrators to consult with you on your seeding. Along with selecting your desired division, please also list who you expect to play, and what class/role. We have a template below, please include your completed template in your signup application.

Event Staff

Prior to the event all our current Highlander administrators will be around to assist individuals and teams in the sign up process in any way possible. Once staff have been assigned to be an active admin during the days of the cup you'll be able to find the available staff listed on the Event Admin thread.

Reminders

During Experimental Cup 4, we may conduct random demo checks to ensure players are recording POV demos. Please ensure that you are recording all scrims and officials to avoid punishment. You can do this via the in-game demo system following our guide which you can find here.
- The punishments for not recording demos have been changed - the first offence will now incur a warning, but a repeat offence at any time in the future will incur severe penalties. This is not a 'blank slate' - all previous offenders who have been caught not recording will not get another warning.
If you are unsure if something is considered a game exploit, contact a League Administrator for clarification. Ignorance is not an excuse.
