Overview
Teams of three will compete in a series of minigames listed below:
• BBall
• Dodgeball
• Ultitrio
• Jump Map Race
• MGE
Winning one of these minigames wins your team a gold medal, the team with the most gold medals at the end wins!
Format
No Elimination: Even if you lose a round, you aren't out. You play every single game type once.
- Every match victory will award 1 Gold
- Goal: The team with the most Gold Medals after 5 rounds wins.
- Tie-Breakers: If there’s a tie for 1st place at the end, we enter a sudden death bracket (Stage 2) to crown the winner.

- BBall: Best of 5 (Must rotate players each
- Dodgeball: Best of 3 (Full 3v3).
- Ultitrio: Best of 3 (Full 3v3).
- jump_beef: 3v3 Race (First team to have 2 players finish wins).
- 2v2 MGE: Best of 5 (Must rotate players each round).
Scheduling and Attendance
- Match Window: Matches must be played within the designated three day window (e.g., Monday to Wednesday).
- Scheduling: Teams are responsible for finding a mutual time to play within the window. This follows the standard Ozfortress scheduling convention.
- Referees: A moderator acting as a Referee must be present for every match. They are required to generate the server string and watch the game to ensure rules are upheld. The referee will be assigned to the match.
- Forfeits: Forfeits are issued on a per-round basis. There is no disqualification from the entire tournament for repeated truancy; a team will simply receive a loss for that specific round to ensure the Swiss system calculations remain intact.
Team Composition and Mercenaries
- Size: Teams of 3.
- New players: You must have at least 1 new player on your team.
- Balance: Admins generally won’t touch your roster unless you are clearly too strong.
- Restrictions: Your Noob Pugs restrictions DO apply for this tournament.
- Class Restrictions: Standard "Noob Pugs" class restrictions are in effect for all game modes, with the exception of the
jump_beefrace. - Mercenaries (Substitutes):
- Mercenaries are allowed but must be approved by two moderators/referees prior to the match.
- The opposing team does not have the right to veto a mercenary if they have been approved by the moderators.
Game Mode Specific Rules
2v2 MGE and BBall
- Mandatory Rotation: Teams cannot keep their strongest player in for every round. Rotation is mandatory.
- Rotation Pattern: In the B05 format, every combination of the 3-player team must play. (e.g., Round 1: Players A+B, Round 2: Players B+C, Round 3: Players A+C).
- MGE Settings:

servemeor the Melbourne MGE server. - Players may choose their own classes as long as it's within their restrictions (can play MGE AC).

- BBall Matchups: If a team has a player with a Soldier class restriction, administrators will manually route the bracket to ensure they play against another team with a similar restriction.
