Round 7 is upon us and we still cannot concrete in the final 4 of each division.

It will be an epic final round as any. If Spartacus Vengeance ep10 was anything to come by, THIS LAST ROUND WILL BE HUGE!~
Will we see blood? Will we see tears? It has been the closest race to the top 4 for (5eva?)

Attached are some notes by the divisional admins, to advise us of some of possible scenarios, maybe even a hint to the tipsters ;3

GreaverTV has a big appetite for casting great TF2 games. Their eyes are bigger then their behinds, so due to logistical reasons only selected appetizers will get live coverage.

Division One
Code:
------------------------------
| R | TEAM | T | |
------------------------------
| 1 | BOB | 16 | = |
| 2 | iM intel | 14 | = |
| 3 | SQL.Tt | 14 | |
| 4 | spadebox | 8 | |
------------------------------

SYF vs Th
: This is the 7v8 battle for wooden spoon. Not really though, I think team Th are doomed.

SQL def. beta: "5-0 5-0 SQL." says league admin. Well I think beta is to go big and go down fighting, giving us an easter present we have been all dreaming about

spadebox vs vR: 2 0 spadebox ...If spadebox show up they will win.

iM vs BOB
: in my opinion, 90% chance iM win convincingly. SQL are hoping they drop 1 bonus point. I could be wrong here and this game might turn out...awesome. We'll see.

Who will make the final is pretty much concrete (beta could pull off a miracle upset but lets be honest here).

The only interesting thing about div1 is iM and SQL have had identical game result stats all season and they drew to each other. However SQL got a free win against BOB (forfeit) and now iM have to put out a dominating result to keep up on bonus points, or concede the wanted seed 1 for the finals.

Division Two
Code:
------------------------------
| R | TEAM | T | |
------------------------------
| 1 | sSb | 20 | = |
| 2 | untitled | 19 | = |
| 3 | RUFFIANS | 12 | = |
| 4 | foxy | 10 | = |
------------------------------
3rd and 4th spots could go to any of 5 teams and based on past week performances. It's honestly hard to pick (the higher ranked of those teams are on losing streaks while the lower ones are on the winning streaks).

untitled vs sSb: (1v2) - only two teams with a lock into the finals, but the winner will take top spot. Grand final preview.

RUFFIAN vs lotb: (3v8) - RUFFIAN should've been a lock to make the finals however a suprise loss in round 6 to bottom of the table 21&hookers see them possibly slipping to 5th, though it's pretty unlikely.

foxy vs wonderboys/dk: (4v7) - wonderboys were early season favourites until a upset loss to GTSOM and a heavy points infaction for smurfing crippled them. Foxy can possibly draw to get in to the finals on the back of their bonus points and no draws but a loss wont be enough. There is an round 7 configuration that sees wonderboys making the finals (ruffian win, wonderboys win, GTSOM/21hookers draw). This game is being delayed 1 week, so its importance on finals placement will be clearly when the whistle goes.

21hookers vs GTSOM: (5v6) - hookers have been the whipping boys most of the season but some have had a 2nd life late into this season with 2 suprise victories. The winner of this game will need either Foxy or RUFFIAN to stumble to slip into to finals.

Division Three
Code:
------------------------------
| R | TEAM | T | |
------------------------------
| 1 | Instability | 17 | = |
| 2 | witerfall | 17 | = |
| 3 | :wu | 13 | = |
| 4 | NightShift | 11 | = |
------------------------------

:wu def. buzz'n 2-0
buzzing hornets were unable to make the finals... As a result of the bonus points gained from this and previous wins, :wu managed to leapfrog winterfall to get 2nd (due to winterfall losing the third match, below)

instability def. winterfall 2-0 1 vs 2, these teams had been tied on points (with instability leading by 3 bonus points). As the winners of this match, instability achieved first place for the season, with winterfall falling to third.

vF vs We Few
.. vF (asiafortress team) need to win this match to make the finals.. A win will leapfrog them over NightShift, who have a bye this round. We Few are winless thus far, and will be 7th regardless of the outcome of this match

Nightshift have a bye, and will have to hope We Few beat vF.

Division Four

Code:
------------------------------
| R | TEAM | T | |
------------------------------
| 1 | dialUp | 14 | = |
| 2 | SG | 14 | = |
| 3 | vsn | 9 | = |
| 3 | TOG | 8 | = |
------------------------------
vsn vs m. - This game is Vision Gaming's last chance to claw their way back into the top 4, can they do it?

TOG vs kB
2 0 kB- An interesting match up: With TOG's position on the scoreboard and good enough star alignment they could potentially make a last chance grab at a spot in the finals bracket.

dialUp vs WYB - A fairly uneventful match unfortunately, with anything they could stand to throw dialUp's way would just be too little too late...

SG vs uT
- Unfortunately uT is in the same boat as WYB. Still, not a bad way to play the season out...

Division Five
Code:
 ------------------------------
 | R | TEAM | T | |
 ------------------------------
 | 1 | ONS | 16 | = |
 | 2 | pubxp | 14 | = |
 | 3 | Rd | 12 | = |
 | 3 | SC | 12 | = |
 ------------------------------
StarChild vs pubxp - This will actually decide on who gets into the finals at all. Both teams tied for 4th. If the match is a draw they could potentially push TD out of the top 4.

ONS vs Td
- With ONS's position at number one solidified it will be interesting to see if TD can defeat ONS and ensure they have their place or leave their position to fate...

TOGr vs 2166 - TOGr have had a tough season to say the least, a brand new team with mostly brand new players

Rd. vs sI - Rd's season has been extremely strong so far, they'll be looking to solidify their hold on the number 2 seed going into the bracket.

Division Six
Code:
------------------------------
| R | TEAM | T | |
------------------------------
| 1 | Meow | 14 | = |
| 2 | SD | 12 | = |
| 3 | pM | 10 | = |
| 3 | GBH | 8 | = |
------------------------------
pM vs AMIGMAR - 2 0 pM

GBH vs Tc - playoff for the fourth and final playoff spot. Whoever wins will get 4th spot in Div 6. If GBH win with 2 bonus points they can leapfrog as high as second, pending results from pM vs AMIGMAR.

SD have a bye - could drop as far as 4th results pending.

Meow have a bye - could lose top position results pending.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We hope you have enjoyed the OWL season so far and join us in watching the finals rounds shape up! Thank you all reading our commentary.
